Welcome to Softbelly!

Softbelly is a delightfully retro establishment and is the ideal place to hang out, with plush lounges and an old school feel. It does not matter if it is 1 or 140 of you we can look after you. The lights are dimmed late at night to create a warm atmosphere with candles lit throughout the whole venue to encourage you to talk to friends or just soak up the funky music being played. We have imported tap beers and 35 different  local and imported bottle beers. Plenty of reds and whites of good quality cater for all tastes. For the harder amongst you there are some great shots that we make that will make your toes curl!! With "Ninja" the new chef you can also eat some awesome food whilst enjoying your drinks the kitchen being open until 11pm.

We are open most Mondays for a couple of hours to rebuild the place after the weekend.  Come in after work to jump start the week.

On Tuesdays we have poker.  There is a $11 buy in and up to a about 40 people play.  All the money goes to the first three.  On Thursdays we have free poker with the Australian Poker League.  It is just as much fun if you know the game well or if you have never played it before. Registration is from 5.30 with the game starting at 6.30. There are loads of cash prizes for the winners.

Wednesday is open mic night.  Just bring you and your instruments and we provide the rest with music starting from 6. We do not care how good or bad you are and will listen to anything. In the back room you can set anything up to a five piece band and rock the night away. 

Every other Thursday we have meetings in the lounge area with Engineers without Borders and other organisations.  Come and listen out of interest or add something to see if you can help.

Fridays is devoted to celebrating the start of the weekend.  The after work crowd start the evening and then it is handed over to bands or functions in the lounge. Music starts around 6 and then there is a new act every hour. You can book the lounge area for a private function if you wish.
